BlueprintIQ Collective was born out of recognizing that entrepreneurial talent exists in every community– but not everyone has equal access to the resources needed to succeed. The story begins with BlueprintIQ, a successful for-profit consulting firm known for providing data-driven business solutions in strategy, technology, and marketing to help businesses thrive. Having built credibility in the private sector, the founders saw an opportunity to extend that expertise to the public good. Rather than only serving clients who could pay, why not guide those with great ideas but limited means? This vision led to the creation of BlueprintIQ Collective in mid-2025 as a nonprofit extension of the brand.

The brand story of BlueprintIQ Collective is one of bridging worlds: it carries forward the professional acumen and “blueprint” methodology of its corporate origin, but now with a heart for community impact. Early on, the team identified communities in West Tennessee and the surrounding region that traditional business services had overlooked. They saw minority entrepreneurs with brilliant ideas in Memphis neighborhoods, or teens in rural Tennessee with entrepreneurial spark – all lacking guidance and support. BlueprintIQ Collective was founded to be that missing support system, essentially to “guide every idea from startup to success,” as one internal motto puts it.

The brand embodies a guide and partner persona: equal parts coach, tech expert, marketing guru, and cheerleader for its clients. Anecdotes already emerging in the Collective’s narrative include stories of volunteer mentors (some from the BlueprintIQ corporate side) working on weekends to help a local food truck owner refine her business plan, or recent college grads running a summer Youth Biz Bootcamp at a community center and watching high schoolers pitch business ideas with confidence. 

These stories highlight a through-line in the brand story: community empowerment through knowledge and guidance. Every success – a business launch or a youth entrepreneur’s growth – becomes part of the BlueprintIQ Collective legend, reinforcing why the organization was created.
